Epiroc became an independent company in 2018 when Atlas Copco split off its mining and infrastructure business. The underlying business is much older: Atlas Copco has supplied rock drills since the early 20th century, and Epiroc's history goes back to 1873.

What Epiroc builds

  • Surface drill rigs such as the SmartROC D65 and FlexiROC T45.
  • Underground drill rigs including the Boomer S2 face-drilling jumbo.
  • Underground loaders and trucks, rock bolting rigs, hydraulic breakers and drilling consumables.

Epiroc is a leader in automation and battery-electric underground mining equipment.
