Privacy Policy

What personal data Worksite Machines collects, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated

This Privacy Policy explains how Worksite Machines ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal information when you visit worksitemachines.com (the "Site"). We have written it to be readable; if anything is unclear, contact us at support@worksitemachines.com.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for the Site is the operator of Worksite Machines, reachable at support@worksitemachines.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and the contents of your message.

Technical information. Like most websites, our servers automatically log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the Site running, and are deleted on a rolling basis.

Analytics. If analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymised. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we do not sell personal data.

  • To reply to your messages (your consent and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence).
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site (our legitimate interest).
  • To measure audience with analytics (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • To comply with legal obligations where they apply.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Site, such as our hosting provider, email provider and, if enabled, Google for analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may disclose information if required by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where data is transferred from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA and UK can also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and to delete; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To exercise any right, email support@worksitemachines.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption, keep our software up to date and limit access to personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
