Shantui is a Chinese manufacturer best known for crawler dozers. In the early 1980s it licensed bulldozer technology from Komatsu, and many Shantui dozers still share the layout and proven mechanical design of Komatsu machines of that era. Shantui became China's largest dozer producer and one of the largest in the world.

Lineup

The SD16, SD22 and SD32 cover the medium to large dozer classes. Shantui also builds wheel loaders, road machinery and graders.

Buying advice

Shantui dozers are simple, mechanically robust and much cheaper than premium brands, which makes them popular in Africa, the Middle East, Russia, Central Asia and Latin America.
