If straw is a valuable product on your farm, conventional walker combines (and hybrids like the CLAAS LEXION) are usually kinder to straw. Rotary combines (John Deere S-series, Case IH Axial-Flow, New Holland Twin Rotor) offer high capacity and gentle grain threshing, but chop and crush straw more.
