Overview
The John Deere 8R series is the backbone of large North American row-crop farms. The 8R 410 tops the wheeled range, and the same power is available in the four-track 8RX version.
Technology
The 8R integrates Deere's CommandCenter display, AutoTrac guidance, JDLink connectivity and the Operations Center. Deere has demonstrated fully autonomous 8R tractors, and the platform is designed for that future.
Transmissions
Buyers can choose the e23 powershift with efficiency manager, the IVT continuously variable transmission or, in some markets, the electric-variable EVT.
