Overview
The Cat 140 line goes back decades (12, 140G, 140H, 140M) and has been the best-selling motor grader size in the world. The current Cat 140 replaced the 140M3 and 140 GC with refreshed electronics, efficiency improvements and a modernised cab.
Features
Cat's joystick controls replaced the traditional lever bank in the M-series, and the current model keeps that layout. Options include all-wheel drive, Cat Grade with Cross Slope or 3D, a front lift group, rear ripper and Stable Blade, which automatically reduces bounce.
Who it suits
Road builders, municipalities and earthmoving contractors who need a versatile, well-supported grader.
